All for the Greater Honour & Glory of God

Curriculum

There is a paradigm shift in learning over the past decade due to the influence of the digital world. Children are far ahead in their thinking processes. Keeping ahead of these trends, Notre Dame Academy offers a curriculum, which creates opportunities for the children to become independent learners and thinkers.

Notre Dame Academy is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). The school prepares students to appear for the ICSE examinations at the high school (class 10) level and the ISC examinations at the pre-university (plus two) levels.

The medium of instruction is English and high school students can choose to study either Hindi, Kannada, or French as a second language. Students enrolled in the ISC programme may choose one of the three streams of study: Humanities, Commerce, or Science. Our curriculum is well aligned with the guidelines of CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations).

Due to the emphasis laid on academic standards, students from the CISCE board hold an edge over other students in exams like JEE, NEET, TOEFL, SAT, CAT, MAT, etc., which evaluates an aspirant’s English writing and communication skills.

Every class from Nursery is equipped with SMART boards which incorporate the latest electronic technology. The interactive board creates the perfect learning ambiance and turns a normal classroom into a fun learning environment.

We do our best to ensure that no student is left behind, no matter what the circumstances are. We believe that it is important for a child to excel not just academically, but also develop strong life skills and value systems that will prepare them to face the challenges in the modern world. Experienced and dedicated staff make this achievable with a mixture of excellent academic opportunities and vibrant co-curricular activities. Co-curricular activities complement and enhance the academic structure of the school.
