The children enthusiastically took part in our pre-primary class’s fancy dress competition. The judges were enthralled with their passion for writing scripts and costumes for their roles. We were surprised by how openly and without care for criticism the doctors, superheroes, princesses, vegetables, fruits, nature, and countless more revealed themselves. “ The flame of the diya, or lamp, reminds us that light will ultimately triumph over darkness.”    –  Barack Obama

We planned a pot and diya exercise for our pre-primary pupils to help them understand the true meaning of Diwali, the Festival of Lights. Their bright diyas stood out as a representation of success, joy, and optimism. Their innocent smile actually represented the triumph of light over darkness. It ended up being our most treasured Diwali present.

Children’s Day Fete,November 17,2023

“ Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow.”– Pt.Jawaharlal Nehru

The day set aside for our cherished children was made much better by the Notre Dame Academy faculty and staff. It had been planned as a fun-filled and festive day. To kick things off, the teachers led a boisterous assembly.

A variety of products could be sold due to the layout of tuck stores. The food stalls were crowded with kids playing and there were big queues.

Among the other food vendors, the dancing floor, games, and accessories stall were particularly well-liked by the students. We were overjoyed to provide a fun and relaxing day for our cherished children.

Story telling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world today .–    Robert Mckee

Preschoolers are already adept in the discipline of storytelling, and younger ages are perfect for imparting this powerful act. We provide children with the structure and setting they need to let their imaginations run wild.

We were successful in transforming these children into exceptional communicators who express themselves freely and without restraint. Our children were excited to share their stories with us, and it was fascinating to hear them describe and convey their emotions in line with the main characters.

The occasion was made more prestigious by the presence of the chief guest, Sr. Abha, the secretary of the Notre Dame Academy. Inspired by the state’s brave red and yellow flag, our children sang “Nadageethe” in honor of Karnataka as the Chief Guest raised the state flag.

Our principal, Senior Sandhya, added even more flair to the occasion, which was centered around the important maxim “Learn Kannada,Save and Grow Kannada.” Through her Kannada speech, she inspired the students to carry on this tradition.
